Does anybody remember Ann Sothern? She was a beautiful actress and lady. I first noticed her in The Ann Sothern Show and loved her brand of humor. If you don't know who she is then watch this short clip. You will love it.
Sitcoms today bore me to tears but Ann Sothern was a truly funny lady and I'd just like to remember her today.

She was always one of my own Mother's favorites. As a child then, I only vaguely remember the show but I do remember how beautiful I thought she was.
Totally loved her, and what about Eve Arden - she always played the leading lady's best friend and stole the show. I wanted to be Eve Arden!
I remember watching her show when I was just a kid. It was always funny.

I watched two of her movies today. And yes, I remember the Ann Sothern show too. I always liked her and the movies I watched today "Up Goes Maisie" and another presented her in a very positive role model mode for her time.
She was definitely a beauty in her day.
Absolutely remember Ann Southern. I always enjoyed watching even older movies with my Mom who didn't work outside the home back then. I even liked Carmen Miranda movies ~ anybody remember those?
