Margie's Fun Friday

Margie: Today is Black Friday which means all the folks will be out looking for sales. Not this girl. People go crazy on this day every year which is why you won't find me leaving the house!

Besides, nobody has given me a bailout so I can't even afford a sale this year. For those of you who do plan to shop today, here's something to think about before you go.

I'm joining the club. The comfort of my home is much better than dealing with glazed-eyed, thoughtless shoppers!

I skipped Black Friday too. I actually bought most of my presents already. The rest I will get on-line.

The mall we went to was pretty crowded, but when we went for our HD TV at Best Buy, it was a zoo in that department! I could never work at a job like that with music blaring. I had a headache by the time we left and just wanted to plug up my ears the whole time I was in there! We were there around 2:00.

I'm all for a good sale but getting up that early is not my style anymore. I did it twice and will never do it again. If I can't get that stuff from the website then it's not meant for me to have.

Margie: Thank you all for visiting and leaving your comments. They are very much appreciated!

Glorie, it's true. Some people actually camp out in front of the stores for 24 hours or more before the sale starts.Be glad it doesn't happen there.

The folks in this video seen downright nice compared to the Wal Mart shoppers. The whole thing makes me ill.
