Fun Friday

Margie and Edna would like to introduce a new feature here at the Basement: Fun Fridays. Each week, we'll present a little something that we particularly like, as a nice pick-me-up for us all at the end of a hard week. Enjoy!

Margie: Edna and I would like to share with you one of our favorite TV shows of all time. We used to watch it with our grandma. Poor granny had to explain to Edna that Edna was not ever going to be the queen of anything. We hope you enjoy it.

Our Mom remembers this! She still isn't Queen for a Day, but she has attained Duchess status. It's not all bad!

Oh dear...I remember Rinse Away and actually watching Q4AD. I loved it when they would give the ladies the Meyers of Mexico skirts. I have always been attracted to shiny things though. LOL Thanks for the memories!

OH-MY-GOD!!! I used to watch that show with MY Grandma! Talk about a BLAST FROM THE PAST!!!! Phew. I almost started crying, just from the nostalgia.

I often think of those long forgotten old tv shows. You know which one I really loved that I never hear ANYone talk about any more? "Video Village." Did you gals ever watch that?

Sigh, where does the time go. One day WE'RE little kids, and then in the very first second we've got grown married children with our own grandkids. I'm afraid I'll wake up dead one day and hear people hovering around my casket saying, "Her end came too early because she never got over Queen For A Day, and Video Village. Sigh....

Where do it all go?

Hi Ladies,
Thanks for sharing that. I have never heard of this show, I bet my
mother watched it. My mother was a relative to the Duke of Ferrara. She would have been a duchess if her parents never left Italy.
Take Care,
Janet:)
