Supernatural's back!

We know everyone is talking about fall TV this week, we are too.  Supernatural returns tonight with its Season 7 premiere.  While we're not sure what this season holds, we do know that they boys have a lot of fun on set.  While you're waiting for tonight, why don't you check out the Season 6 gag reel from last season's DVD?

Supernatural, the sixth season

Margie: Edna, I must say that I surely enjoyed Supernatural's premiere even if it has moved to Friday night. I always have a Friday night date but I let everybody know that I belong to my Jensen on Friday.

Did you like the show, sister? I heard you mumbling to yourself a lot.

Edna: It's because I was worried and confused. You know that Mr. Kripke isn't in charge of things any more so I was worried about how Ms. Gamble would take care of the show. She loves the boys, so I think my worry was for nothing.

But I'm confused because I don't know if I should trust their grandfather or not. You can't always trust family, and maybe especially if they've been raised from the dead.

Margie: Well, I don't know about it being a gamble but the ratings are good. I was sorry to see Dean wearing a shirt the whole time too.

I know I have family I can't trust, Edna, but you best stay dead when you die or I'll fill you full of salt!

Supernatural: The end begins

Edna: Margie, in honor of this being the last season ever of Supernatural, I've been saving up my money and I bought us something special. Cousin T found and fixed up a black 1967 Impala for me, now we can go tooling around just like Sam and Dean! What do you think?

Photobucket

Margie: Edna, I'm not riding with you so you best find a driver. One of those young men will do fine. I'll be sitting between them in the front seat. They might need direction.

Edna: Pfft. I'm driving no matter what you think, so you can either ride along with me or stay at home. Oh, and don't forget: driver picks the music and passenger shuts her cake-hole.

Margie: Forget it. I'll just call and have one of my gentlemen friends come over. I hope you end up in the big house.

Edna: Spiteful demon.

Supernatural returns tonight on the CW at 9EST for its sixth and final season.  Margie and Edna will be there with bells on, will you?

The CW hates us

Photobucket

Margie: Listen up, dingbat, because I'm not going to repeat myself. Supernatural returns tonight on the CW and I've been waiting for those boys. They took a hiatal or some such and this is a new episode.

You best keep your yap shut tonight or I'll duct tape your big mouth. You got that?

Edna: Margie, for the last time, those voices you hear when you're watching TV aren't me. They're the radio signals you pick up on your fillings. Besides, you're the one who chatters on all through TV episodes, it's like watching with a monkey.

You know, it's about gol-durn time that show is back on the air. I'm going to write a letter to Congress and get them to ban hiatuses. I'm a patient woman, but even I have my limits.

Margie: I don't have any fillings, nutcase. Go take your pills.

You go ahead and write Congress. It's not likely that they're going to help you since they only help themselves to our money. Speaking of money, I'd sure pay that pretty Jensen to come here to visit me. Lordy, it's cold shower time.

Edna: Folks, there's nothing worse than an over-the-hill hussy, and that's the truth.

Supernatural: Thunderstruck

Photobucket

Margie: Edna, that 5th season episode premiere of Supernatural made my hair stand on end. I just loved seeing my boys back in action.

Well, that Jensen Ackles just rules my heart. He is too hot and too fine. That Castiel isn't so bad either. How did you like this episode?

Edna: Margie, it just figures that with a suspenseful episode like that, you'd focus on beefcake. You're no better than that Becky, Sam's fangirl.

Didn't you even notice about Bobby being possessed by a demon? What about the boys being saved from Lucifer? Or, for that matter, Lucifer finding himself a "vessel" so the Apocalypse can begin?

Margie: I certainly did notice all that and Bobby scared me! I loved the way Dean looked when that Becky girl seemed disappointed in him. I can make that up to him for sure.

It made me sad, Edna, when Dean told Sam he doesn't trust him anymore. I know exactly how it feels to have a close relative that you can't trust!

Edna: So do I, Margie, and that's the truth. I thought that part was sad too, but I understand why Dean said what he did. Sam has a lot to answer for from the past year, and I really do hope those two brothers can learn to trust each other again once this is all over and done with.

Margie, do you think we should worry that we talk about these folks like they're real?

Margie: Edna, I think we have more important things to worry about than that, don't you?

Edna: Er, we do? If you say so, sister.

Fun Friday: 'Tis the season!

Edna: Ladies and gentlemen, I tell you what...I love this time of year. Now, you might think it's because the weather gets cooler and the leaves turn those beautiful colors, but that's only part of the story. What really gets me excited about Fall is the new TV season. Oh, the anticipation of a brand new season of my favorite shows after a long, dry summer!

My sister and I have several shows on the TV that we really like, but if you've been paying attention you'll realize there's one we talk about a lot: Supernatural. My lands, what a show! The CW has been running promotional spots on their channel in anticipation of the season 5 premiere on September 10th, and below are the two newest ones. I'm sharing them with all of you fine folks so that you'll see why I'm so excited. But be forewarned, there are spoilers in these spots, so view at your own risk.

And this one just gives me goosebumps...

Supernatural's back!

Edna: Margie, there's a new episode of Supernatural on tonight, and it's about ding-dang time, too! I swan, I don't know what those folks at the CW are thinking with these hiatuses. You'd think they'd want to keep the ball rolling on all their good shows, considering how few people watch their channel in the first place.

Feh, who am I to know what's in the mind of a TV executive? As long as I get my Sam and Dean back, I guess I should be happy.

Margie: Edna, you know that those dumb TV executives use those outdated Nielsen ratings which means they don't care about the majority of people who watch TV. They only count a few.

Dean is not yours, sister, but you can have Sam. Best watch out or he'll pull that demon right out of you.

Edna: Margie, you can try and rile me all you want, but I am not going to let this blog post degenerate into a fight over Dean Winchester. I am too much of a lady for that, unlike some floozies I could name.

I guess I shouldn't complain too much about the CW's programming department, they did have the good sense to renew Supernatural for a fifth season. Smart move, they knew they'd have a fangirl riot on their hands if they didn't. Anyway, I'm looking forward to tonight's episode, I've been worried about Dean and Sam. Those boys keep too many secrets from each other, and I can feel something bad coming on the horizon.

Margie: Edna, people describe you in many ways but lady is not one of them. Enough said.

Yes, those boys do have secrets but they'll all come out in the end. I just hope those nice boys won't turn into old crabs like us. And, may I say that I'm hoping to see more sex in the new episodes?

Edna: Oh, good Lord, woman! Don't make me turn the hose on you.

Supernatural returns!

Photobucket

Edna: Oh Margie, I'm so excited! There's a brand-spanking new episode of Supernatural tonight! I swan, it seems like it's been ages since there was a new episode, even though I know it's only been a couple of months. I do so look forward to seeing those Winchester boys again.

Margie: I look forward to seeing my hunka, hunka burning love. That's Jensen if you didn't know. My stars, Edna, that young man just brings out the worst in me.

I could talk about him all day. Sometimes I just sit in my rocking chair and close my eyes and...

Never you mind the rest, Edna.

Edna: Land's sake, I don't want to hear the rest, Margie! My goodness, there is more to that show than just eye candy, you hussy. Don't you even care about poor Dean and what he said happened to him in H-E-L-L? And what about Anna, do you think she made it back to Heaven? And that horrible demon, Alistair--oooh, he gave me the shivers. Think we've seen the last of him?

Margie: There's more than eye candy? I know that! Dean is my heart candy.

Anyway, Edna, I care a lot about Dean. I don't like those demons a bit. No, I doubt we've seen the last of Alistair.

I don't know about Anna but I know I'd be in Heaven if I'd been in that back seat with Dean.

Edna: Margie, you should be ashamed of yourself. All I know is, Supernatural comes back tonight and I won't be watching it and looking for any cheap thrills, unlike some other shallow people I could name.

Margie: Edna, I do believe you've already forgotten your New Year's resolutions. You aren't being nice to me at all.

Thank goodness Supernatural is coming back so you'll shut up for an hour!

Edna: Kiss my grits, Margie! It was a stupid resolution, anyway.

Carry On My Wayward Son

Photobucket

Note: If you have not yet seen "Lazarus Rising" there are spoilers in this post.

Margie: Edna, I must say the season 4 premiere of Supernatural was everything I could have wanted. My Dean got out of Hell and his sweet voice and pretty face were intact.

There sure was something strange about Sam though. That boy was trying to act like Dean if you ask me. I'm keeping a close eye on him.

Edna: I think you're right, Margie. That Sam went through some changes while Dean was in Hell, no two ways about it. And he's become awfully secretive, hasn't he?

But Margie, I have to say this: sometimes this show makes me blush. Young ladies in their unmentionables, smutty language, young men flashing their chests...it's enough to make a lady weep.

Margie: Yes, Sam is secretive and he's hooked up with that Ruby. I don't trust her a bit.

Edna, you are so right about those things. You surely do blush and I smile all the way through the show. Ahem. Edna, do you think that man/angel really came from God?

Edna: You're a smiling hussy, Margie. I don't know where that angel came from, but when was the last time you saw an angel with black wings? I hope Dean is careful and uses his head before he decides whether or not to trust him.

I also hope that Mr. Kripke knows what he's doing. I think this is going to be an interesting season.

Margie: I agree with that, Edna. Did you hear something? That must be the pizza delivery boy. You wait right there, Edna.

Edna: Wait Margie, that's not Dean and Bobby out there, it really is the pizza delivery boy. Don't you dare answer the door in your bloomers! Oh Lord, I think we're going to have to find a new pizza place.

Supernatural returns tonight!

Photobucket

Edna: Oh my stars and garters, Margie, I'm so excited I can hardly stand it! Do you know what tonight is?

Margie: Unlike you, Edna, I know what every night is. Tonight is when I spend time with my sweet voiced young man. I'm going to have to calm myself down or I may fly right out the roof.

Edna: Well, you're sharing Mr. Sweet Voice tonight with me and several million other people, you know. I can't wait to watch the season premiere, I can't believe it's finally here. I wonder how they're going to get poor Dean out of H-E-double-hockey-sticks?

Did you remember to go to the store and get us some snacks?

Margie: Edna, I am not going to watch some old hockey game! I'm watching Supernatural.

Snacks? Yes, I got brownies for me and out of date cakes for you. You can hush while the show is on too and don't make those crazy sounds.

Edna: Date cakes? You know perfectly well that the only dates I enjoy are the ones that involve dinner and dancing. Just for that, I'm sending Cousin T out to the Krispy Kreme, and we're not getting any of them for you. How do you like them apples?

As for making noise during the show, don't you worry. I'll be too wide-eyed to make any sounds. You just make sure you don't talk through the whole show like you usually do. I want to pay attention and see if Sam and Bobby can save Dean. I just love that Bobby, don't you?

Margie: Edna, did you always aspire to be a moron? You made it. Krispy Kreme doesn't have dates and Cousin T won't mistreat me.

Bobby is a fine man but I just want Dean. And, I'm not talking to you during the show anyway. I'm talking to somebody else. Isn't it your bedtime?

Edna: As soon Dean makes it out of you-know-where, I'm sending him your way with some rock salt and holy water, you demon.

Margie: Kiss my you-know-what, Edna.

Supernatural Season 3 DVD

Photobucket

Margie: Edna, I've been thinking and I owe you an apology. You have been a good sister. I know you love me but you don't like showing your feelings a lot. Christmas is coming and I don't want us to be at odds. Let's be friends.

You're a good person, Edna. I could just write forever about your good qualities.

Edna: Margie, I truly hope that you're not trying to butter me up so I'll buy you one of those Supernatural Season 3 boxed DVD sets that comes out today. Because you are out of your cotton-pickin' mind if you think that.

Margie: Edna, I'm as sincere as I can be. You don't have to buy me anything. I was just trying to be a nicer person. I should be grateful to have a good sister and I am.

Would you like for me to make some of those nice brownies you love so?

Edna: Margie you stop that right now, you're starting to freak me out, as the hipsters say today. It's like you've become a pod person, or maybe you've been possessed. That's it, isn't it?

Well, I'll be buying my DVD set at the store today. If you've really turned a new leaf and become a more loving sister, you'll show that love by keeping your grubby paws off my copy.

Margie: Edna, I tried being nice. If you don't buy me a copy of my own, you selfish hoodlum, I'll watch yours until there's no Jensen left to see on it.

You got that, Edna?

Edna: A-ha! There you have it folks, I knew she was faking it! Margie, you can go buy your own copy, you deceitful hag. And while you're at it, you'd better leave the acting to the professionals.

Margie and Edna Plan A Vacation

Margie: Edna, look. Here's a nice place where we could take our vacation. It's Richardson, Texas. Just look at these pictures of what we could see there.

Photobucket

Photobucket

Edna: I see a couple lovely pictures of what looks like a pretty little place. But you snuck in some pictures of Jensen. What are you up to, you sneaky so-and-so? Despite what you may think, that boy is not a vacation spot!

Margie: Oh honey, you are sadly mistaken. He's the only vacation spot I ever need to visit!

Edna: Sweet Lord above, give me strength. Margie, need I remind you that we are genteel ladies and not celebrity stalkers? Do I have to call Deputy Jimmy and have him give you that talk again?

Margie Discovers Supernatural

Photobucket

Margie: Edna, I know why you want to hide those Supernatural DVD's. You want those young men all to yourself. Let me tell you something, you nitwit, demons killed their mother so they aren't interested in a demon like you.

Edna: I'm going to ignore your insults, you harpy. Besides, those two nice boys would probably appreciate the guidance of a genteel older woman like myself. You, they'd throw holy water on and shoot full of rock salt.

Margie: Genteel? Get a grip, hussy. I think I'd prefer holy water to burning up on the ceiling or being drowned in my bathtub. I'm scared to take a bath these days after watching that show. Maybe I should call that sweet voice Dean to protect me when I'm in the tub?

Edna: Don't hold your breath waiting for him to come running. I guess I don't blame you for being scared about the bathtub thing, but people are starting to talk about your, uh, lack of personal hygiene. I'm embarrassed to go to town these days because of you.

Margie: Edna, you're very rude. I can't help it that water scares me. I can't even comb my hair. Don't you remember Bloody Mary and how she came out of those mirrors? Lordy, she sure did resemble you. Why don't you go look in the mirror and say "Bloody Mary" three times? If nothing happens, I won't be scared anymore. Go on, Edna.

Edna: I don't know how you can call me rude, spouting insults like you do. You know, I'm being nice by letting you watch my Supernatural DVDs. Much more of this nonsense, I'm taking those DVDs away from you for good. So just watch your step, you old bat.

Margie: Okay, Edna. I think I'll go watch some more of this show. I can't tell you how happy I am that I discovered it. I think everybody should watch it, don't you?

Edna: Of course I do, but they should buy their own copies instead of stealing them from unsuspecting relatives like someone else I could mention.

Margie and Edna: Discovering Supernatural

Photobucket
Margie: Edna, I'm glad you went to the bake sale but my arthritis was acting up so I just laid on the couch while you were gone. I got a little bored so I went in your room and found these little DVD thingies and watched this show called Supernatural. I do so love those two young men!

Edna: That's it, I'm calling Cousin T over here right away to put a sturdy lock on my bedroom door. Margie, you always were a sneaky snoop.

Margie: Edna, I locked the DVDs in the basement. They're in good hands and I don't mean Allstate.

Edna: Well! Isn't that just like you, wanting to hoard all the good things for yourself? I'm calling Deputy Jimmy over to arrest you, those DVDs are my property, you selfish old hag!

Margie: Edna, your name wasn't on them but mine is so just go call him. You'll be the one in jail! Who's selfish, you idiot?

Edna: Margie, Deputy Jimmy knows you well enough to know how unscrupulous you are. If I say they're mine, he'll believe me, no matter whose name is on them. Besides, I have the receipt, you deceitful shrew!

Look, I'm not going to argue about this with you any more. Just hand them over and I promise to drop the charges. I even promise not to leave the basement door open when Deputy Jimmy comes over.

Margie: Edna, are you sure you have that receipt???

Edna: Yes, I'm sure. I have multiple copies in very safe places. I always was smarter than you, you dimwit.

Margie: You're so hateful, Edna. I thought we'd spend a quiet afternoon talking about Supernatural but I do believe you have become a demon.
