Margie: As usual, Edna, I'm the one who finds the most interesting people. I am talking about the Crock Pot Girls. They're all the rage now and have taken Facebook by storm. There are 3 moms who decided to exchange crock pot recipes. Why should you care? You couldn't cook if your life depended on it.
Edna, maybe we should be the Special Tea Girls? We could be the Cordial Girls but you don't have a cordial bone in your sagging body. I hate trying to talk to you. I'm going to read some recipes.
Edna: You sure don't have any trouble carrying a conversation by yourself, do you sister? You go read your recipes, I'm going to go make a list of what I want you to cook for me.
Margie: I wonder, Edna, if you should start a blog and call it Delusions?

The lovely Betty White
Edna: Margie, why don't you sit down and watch this rerun of "Golden Girls" with me? I always love watching Betty White, she's so amusing. Did you know she started out on the radio and on TV in the 1940s? That's a long time to be entertaining folks.
Margie: I love Golden Girls and Betty too. Of course I was more like Blanche. Remember when Betty was on Password? I loved that show and her husband was a hottie.
Edna: It figures you'd remember that. You know, she's going to be hosting Saturday Night Live this weekend, thanks to a successful fan campaign on facebook. I'm looking forward to seeing what she does, she's made some funny commercials for the show so far.
Margie: All of that is well and good, sister, but do you know what I most admire about Betty? She is an animal lover and she does wonderful things to help them. You know how I love animals so I appreciate what she does for them.
Edna: I do like to see someone using their celebrity status for good. I think that says a lot about her character.
We'd best take naps on Saturday afternoon if we want to stay awake to watch her on Saturday Night Live.
Margie: A nap is a good idea, sister, but I hope somebody reminds Betty to take one too. She's no spring chicken.

We're On Facebook
Margie: Edna, I might as well live alone for all the company you are to me. You spend all your time playing that old Farmville game on Facebook. If you like farming that well, sister, I'll call Cousin T to bring you a hoe so you can make us a garden.
Edna: Margie, you bring that dictionary on over here to me, I want to show you the definition for the word "hypocrite". Who sets their alarm extra early in the morning so they can get to the computer first to check their crops? You, that's who!
I swan, folks, trying to get her away from Farmville is like trying to get her to stop looking at pictures of handsome cowboys: darn near impossible.
Margie: You always try to twist my words, Edna. I get up early to watch the news! Well, maybe I play a little bit.
If any cowboys out there want to friend me then come on over. We can feed the chickens together.
Edna: Folks, don't you friend her, friend me! I always send and return gifts, and I will fertilize your crops every day. Margie will just take your eggs and run the other direction. She'd steal your horses too, if she could.
Margie: Lying liar! You don't send me gifts and you try to steal my pumpkins too. I'll have you know that I don't steal horses!
Not unless the cowboy is attached.
