But I agree, today's fashions just show too much, and they're advertising the wrong message not only to men, but to younger girls. The fashion of old still allowed you to be sexy and feminine, without making you look like you're only interested in one thing.

Meghann LittleStudio, thanks for the link!TRosshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08230271026720767540noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6376244755961623409.post-20413409524593560562009-10-15T17:33:25.760-05:002009-10-15T17:33:25.760-05:00You are so right. How many times do we see guys with those tacky baggy pants with their underwear and "crack" showing. I don't wanna see that.

Even when I was younger and my Mom and I would go downtown, I would have to wear and dress with gloves. Now, nobody cares how they dress anymore. It's just a matter of respect for yourself and others.

Okay girls, now that I've vented it's back to filming the Margiedales, speaking of clothing :DJoanne Olivierihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01856998108256408734noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6376244755961623409.post-12722442222433252562009-10-15T13:03:08.008-05:002009-10-15T13:03:08.008-05:00I absolutely wish the fashion sense of Garbo and A...I absolutely wish the fashion sense of Garbo and Astaire would make a huge comeback today. What class and thoughtful appreciation of how one looked back then. I have always loved the styles from the 30's, 40's and 50's, and have recently decided to learn how to sew so that I can have clothing just like some of those styles. I am sick of the tacky, low quality clothing that sells in stores for handfuls of money. I found a pattern place online (it is clubBMV.com, I hope I'm allowed to say) that sells great Vintage patterns that have been redone for today's fabrics from companies like Vogue, McCall's and Butterick. I'll let you know how it turns out!Meghannhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14733200185181822610noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6376244755961623409.post-62116814086059145182009-10-15T07:55:02.540-05:002009-10-15T07:55:02.540-05:00I can see it now!
