I love the "eat the fries first" quirk. But only takeout fries, eh? Regardless of where they come from, I have to eat my burger and fries together, but hopefully so there's fries left at the end.

I am the person who smushes a little bit of everything on my fork before I eat it. YUM. Beth needs a set of those army cafeteria trays with all the seperate little wells for each part of the meal.

Jane, you made me want to vomit a little with that food description. My dad says the same thing about all the food going to the same place. While that is certainly a biological fact, it has to pass by your taste buds first. My taste buds prefer a non-layered meal, thank you very much. ;)

About this food thing- it's all going to the same place so it matters not what touches. I like to layer my food. Like mashed potatoes on the bottom, chicken fried steak on top of that then peas on top of that then gravy all over.

Thanks for participating in this "tagging" business. I've got a couple of comments (which should come as no surprise to anyone):

Can't get my mind around that one. I've lived in Arkansas for far to long.

So, a big "whoo pig!" to you.

Isn't it fascinating how a lot of us (myself included) get so wrapped up in college sports? When I was growing up, a friend of my family's was such a Razorbacks fan that she would actually get ill and take to her bed when the team lost.

She was sick a lot.

2. Darn right food should be separated! Food running all together is just nasty. At home, I've got a separate bowl for vegetables because there's nothing worse than, say, juice from black-eyed peas running all over your chicken fried steak.

3. Mr. The Hawg? Heh. That's actually growing on me...
