Edna's lawn art

Edna: While Margie is away this afternoon at Ladies' Bible study, I thought I'd finish up a project I've been working on. This is our front yard, but I think it looks kind of plain and in need of sprucing up.

Maybe I'll start with a tasteful birdbath.

And you know, Margie always says that lawn gnomes give her the heebie-jeebies, but I bet she'll change her mind once she sees how cute this one is.

And you can't have a decent front lawn without a couple of flamingos.

Or maybe just a few more. Doesn't that brighten the place up?

Oh my, I think Margie's going to be so surprised when she gets home!

Lovely, I put out a flock of Pink Flamingos on spring. The neighbors put their home up for sale, I didn't like them anyways.

Oh I love it. The flamingos definitely added just that special touch!!:-)

Now all you need to do is add a bunch of beaded necklaces to drape around the flamingos!

Margie: It's no surprise, Edna, that you're a moron! Welcome, folks, to Edna's Redneck City. Why don't you add a few rusty cars, nimcompoop?

I'm going to buy necklaces to wrap around your scrawny neck. When I get through with you, Edna, you'll be wishing you were a gnome!

I have a friend whose neighbor has the pink flamingos in their yard. She hates them! So on the eve of her 30th bday I put 30 pink flamingos in her front yard and dressed two of them up like she and her hubby!

Love the flock of flamingos. When I used to play the Sims, I used to put flamingos all over the front yard. My wife would be annoyed by all the flamingos.

I think you may have one flamingo too many, but other than that, it's great!

Where's your little jockey??

Edna: Thank you all for the nice comments, I knew everyone would love our new lawn! Just ignore my crabby sister, she wouldn't know good decorating if it bit her on her tushie.

rebecca, there's no jockey because I simply had to draw the line somewhere. A lady knows when to have just the right amount of restraint when decorating, don't you agree?

capybara, what a nice young man you are to offer to cut our lawn! We might just take you up on that one of these days. You'd have to promise to put all of the lawn ornaments back in the right place, though.

Mr. The Hawg, if you bring over some more flamingos, we'd be delighted if you'd put them out in the yard. :D

Margie doesn't seem to be happy. I think she might just be a little scared of the Gnome. All you are missing is a couple of Gargoyles to protect the door entrance.
Have Fun.

Okay first, Margie at Bible Study? More like Margie at Margiedales study. And, unless you're living in Vegas, the flamingos need to go. Have you been drinking that special tea gain?
